PICCOLO, SAN FRANCISCO OPERA ORCHESTRA

Stephanie McNab has held the piccolo chair of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since 2002. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she attended University of California, Los Angeles where she studied with Sheridon Stokes. In addition to performing with the San Francisco Opera, Ms. McNab regularly performs as a guest artist with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony. 

Prior to moving to the Bay Area, she held orchestral positions with the Buffalo Philharmonic, New Mexico Symphony and the Long Beach (CA) Symphony. Ms. McNab has appeared as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Carmel Bach Festival and the Merced Symphony In 2018, she performed and recorded with the Calidore String Quartet at the Music@Menlo Festival.
